Max George has given a positive update on the health of his former The Wanted bandmate Tom Parker, who has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
The 32 year old took to Monday's Good Morning Britain to discuss his relationship with mental health, when he was asked by hosts Susanna Reid and Alistair Campbell how Tom, also 32, is doing.
Starting the conversation by burying the hatchet over their rift at 2011's Soccer Six charity football match, Alistair, 63, said: "If you're speaking to Tom, tell him I really hope he's doing okay."
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Max replied: "Thank you, yeah, he's doing really, really well."
Susanna, 50, explained: "I know you do talk to Tom lots, this is your bandmate of course, Tom Parker, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
"Huge, obviously, overwhelming support for him. How is he getting on?," to which Max responded: "Yeah, great.
"I spoke to him a couple of days ago, he couldn't be doing better, honestly.
"He FaceTimed me last week and he was just sat in the garden having a beer.
"Sat in the sun, when it was sunny. Honestly, his spirits are really high and he's just looking forward to keep doing music and he's just Tom."
