This Morning was in chaos on Thursday morning when host Holly Willoughby wrecked a display of royal memorabilia during an "insensitive" segment.

The blonde beauty and Phillip Scofield welcomed a pawn broker onto the show on September 15 to advise viewers on what royal memorabilia they can invest in amid Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's passing.

But chaos broke out on set when Holly knocked over some gold sovereigns worth hundreds of pounds.

And elsewhere other viewers of the ITV Daytime show slammed the segment for being "insensitive".

At the time Holly was moving from one display to the next when she knocked over some golden sovereigns and said: "Oh gosh! Sorry, I'm not trashing the place."

She then knocked something out which left her and Phil laughing and Holly looking slightly awkward.

Holly then said: "I'm just going to step away. I'm not going to touch anything."

Phillip then revealed that chaos regularly happens when the duo are together and explained: "What we're actually doing here is a well-known foil of ours."

When Holly knocked over the display of expensive sovereigns, one viewer penned: "It’s worth nowt now Holly has knocked it off."

Elsewhere viewers fumed over the "insensitive" segment when one penned: "#thismorning bit insensitive tbh… She has only just died."
