Tipping Point fans viewers rage as contestants both make water blunder

Tipping Point fans were left raging at their screen this evening after contestants Elliot and Hannah both made an epic error during their time on the quiz show.

The TV hopefuls made it to the penultimate round and were battling it out for a place in the all important final when they both drew a blank on a question about water.

Host Ben Shephard asked Hannah "Equivalent to six feet, which unit of measurement is used when referring to depth of water?"

However, she quickly admitted she didn't have a clue.

The quiz show contestant said: "This feels like something I should know.

"It is on the tip of my tongue but I am going to have to pass."

Despite being given an extra shot at winning some counters, Elliot was also stumped.

He said: "I have no idea.

"I am sure there are people shouting at me at home and as soon as you say it I bet i will know it."

Plumping for an answer, Elliot went on to add he would guess as litre as it is to do with water, though he knew it was wrong.

Confirming it was incorrect, Ben replied: "Both of you feel like the answer is there.

"Do you know what it… it it is a fathom."

He playfully mocked: "You tried to fathom out the answer and it was fathom."

Shaking his head, Elliot went on to confirm while he had heard of the word he would have never got the answer correct.

"Litre," alongside a series of laughing emojis a third chuckled.
