What happens to Honey Mitchell in EastEnders?

Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) is set to find herself in a terrifying situation in EastEnders tonight after a date with new love interest Paul Skeggs (Richard Thomson) takes a sinister turn.

The character has lacked self-esteem and confidence since her relationship with Adam Bateman (Stephen Rahman-Hughes), who cheated on her and made her feel worthless.

She’s been hopeful of finding love again after a date with Paul – but that’s about to be shattered by their second meeting.

What happens to Honey Mitchell in EastEnders?

Thursday night’s episode will see Honey in danger after Paul secretly spikes her drink during the date.

This leaves her in an extremely vulnerable situation before he makes his move – although help could be coming as Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) sends Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) to check on her.

We’ll have to wait and see whether he gets to her in time and saves her from Paul’s clutches, but we do know that he will be arrested, and later released on bail after Honey reports him to the police.


That in turn, sparks off a violent chain of events after Billy finds out what happened, and seeks revenge on Paul by trying to attack him with a brick,

But just what does happen to Honey, and how far does Paul go? We’ll just have to keep watching to see what unfolds.

EastEnders continues tonight on BBC One at 7.35pm.
