I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV tonight and some nervous stars are gearing themselves up for a challenge. The premiere will see the contestants team up to win a comfortable place to sleep for the night. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about what time the action starts.
What time is I’m A Celebrity on tonight?
Ten terrified celebrities will come together for the first time tonight as the 2021 series kicks off.
However, they will not all be spending their first night in the same place, as there are only a few beds up for grabs.
Their first task is to go head to head in order to win the keys to the castle.
The action will start at 9pm on ITV, with the first episode lasting an hour and 40 minutes.
An Audience with Adele will air ahead of the launch, and the first episode will conclude at 10.40pm.
For those who miss the premiere, it will be available to watch afterwards on the ITV Hub.
New episodes will continue to air each day at the same time, but the remaining instalments will be shorter.
Instead, they will air from 9pm until 10.15pm, and the series will last for about three weeks.
The 21st series will be hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly every night on the network.
The 10 celebs have left their plush homes behind and moved to the perilous castle.
They were driven through the stunning Welsh mountains to arrive at a stately home.
Overcome with nerves, each celebrity realised they would not be taking an easy route to their new place of residence.
Former BBC Breakfast star Louise Minchin is expected to go head to head with soap star Danny Miller in a high plank challenge.
Meanwhile Strictly Come Dancing star Arlene Phillips and Olympic Gold Medalist Matty Lee face the Turrets of Terror.
The full list of celebs in this year’s lineup is as follows:
The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge
Broadcaster and ex BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin
Music Producer and rapper Naughty Boy
TV Presenter and journalist Richard Madeley
Olympic diver Matty Lee
Paralympic gold medalist Kadeena Cox MBE
Football legend David Ginola
Choreographer Dame Arlene Phillips
Radio 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy
Emmerdale star Danny Miller
Ant and Dec have been keeping fans up to date on their Instagram account ahead of the first show.
They shared a photo of themselves in the picturesque Welsh countryside, saying: “Windy Welsh walk. Which way to the castle?”
They were both wrapped up and ready to brace the chilly November weather, like the rest of the celebs.
Critics of the series have hit out at the fact it is “not the same” since production left Australia.
This is the second year the competition has been held in Wales due to coronavirus restrictions.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs on ITV on Sunday at 9pm.
